Matt Heath, Fleet Sales Director
After a career in transport operations at Eddie Stobart and Maritime Transport, Matt transferred to truck sales to help set up Secondhand Trucks in 2005. Since then, he has been promoted to Fleet Sales Director, with responsibility for all ex-Maritime vehicle sales. As a hands-on vehicle operator, Matt understands the requirements of truck buyers and giving customers the right solution for their business every time.
Ian Cowlishaw, Fleet Sales Executive
Wanting to further his skillset following a successful career within Ford Motor Company, Ian decided to turn his hand to the truck world joining us in 2023. In addition to his years of experience Ian brings with him many transferrable skills from his previous role including being extremely customer focused with excellent attention to detail allowing him to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with our customers which make him a very welcomed addition to the team!
Natasha or "Tish" as she likes to be known, joined Secondhand Trucks in the spring of 2018 following a brief career with Wincanton. Since joining Tish has taken on the mantle of managing our data and data entry records, customer testimonials and website content. Working closely with Mel and Dana, she makes up a third of the administration department which, with her keen attention to detail, means everything is in order and ready for when our customers come to collect their next truck and is a very valued member of the team.
Melanie South, Fleet Sales Administrator
Like Tish, Mel also joined us in the spring of 2018. Having worked in a customer facing role for a number of years Mel is perfectly placed to handle any enquiry whether this be arranging a private registration, or liaising directly with our customers to discuss documents and taxation of their truck. Working closely with Tish and Dana, Mel controls all service records, ensuring each truck has a complete up to date history as well as invoicing and dealing with funders. Always busy, yet always smiling, her experience and attention to detail ensures our standards never slip!
Danuta Grochowska, Fleet Sales Administrator
Danuta (aka Dana) joined us in September 2022 as maternity cover to Tish and is now a permanent member of our team. Having worked in the industry for a number of years, Dana's experience means she has slotted in to her new role perfectly and is a great addition to the admin side of our business. Since becoming a permanent member of staff Dana has now taken on the role of managing all social media platforms as well as putting her graphic design skills to use in creating all of our adverts. Dana takes great pride in every aspect of her work which makes her the perfect fit to the team!

Valentin Chitigoi, Fleet Sales Preparation
Having served in the Air Force for seven years, Valentin joined Maritime Transport Ltd as a driver before transferring across to Secondhand Trucks when the opportunity arose. Working alongside Phil, his standards and commitment serve both us, and our buyers, in a way that only helps us achieve and maintain our position as number 1 for used trucks.
Philip Thompson, Fleet Sales Preparation
Having worked for one of the UK's leading supermarkets Phil was looking to further develop himself. He joined us in the spring of 2019 and has grown in confidence as time has gone on. He has always enjoyed the customer facing side and this is evident when our customers come to view and collect their trucks. Phil takes great pride in ensuring all trucks are presented in first class condition and his eye for detail and keenness to make sure things are correct make him an outstanding member of the team and one that we're very pleased to call a colleague.
