Holchem Laboratories

Holchem Laboratories is a leader in the specialty chemical manufacturing industry, supplying cleaning and hygiene products to the food and drink industry since 1982. Paul Power, Holchem's Transport Manager based at their Bury office, recently purchased a second vehicle from Secondhandtrucks after the first proved to be a great success.

We bought our first Scania unit from Secondhandtrucks in 2013 having seen an advert in a trucking magazine and the vehicles jumped out at me. They looked in great condition, were already in our company colours and Matt offered the right kind of price for a Topline, so it was a perfect match.

The truck was presented in immaculate condition, complete with our livery and has been reliable for the company, which is why I got on the phone to Matt when we needed to add a second. We now run both units in the Holchem livery, transporting all sorts from palletised goods to tankers and they do the job well. Ive been really impressed by the quality of both trucks, its been an ideal solution.

I've had no issues with either Scania which you might expect to get from a used truck, they've been spot on. When our other trucks get a bit long in the tooth I'll be getting back on the phone to Matt.
