Act now and prepare for the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) changes in January 2012. From the beginning of January, Transport for London will start to apply charges to vehicle owners of pre-Euro IV compliant vehicles in the LEZ. The charges for non-compliance for operating within most areas of the M25 will be £200 a day.
If you have a non-compliant vehicle, there are two options to consider. The first is to retrofit a carbon capture filter at a cost of c. £4,500 - £5,000 per vehicle. The filter will need to be cleaned every 60,000 kms, at a cost of c. £300.
The alternative is to buy a Euro IV or V compliant vehicle and at secondhandtrucks.co.uk, we can help. We have a wide choice of readily available LEZ compliant trucks, from '57 to '10 plates and we can help trade in your old truck to provide a deposit for your upgrade too.
LEZ will make Euro III compliant trucks obsolete and of little commercial value in the UK after January 2012, so don't compromise your business. Call us today and see how we can help you to comply.
